I had that one!

I was born in 1980 and all my grandparents were born in the 1890s (both my parents being the youngest of v big families).

Building sites. That's where we spent our childhood. Loads of fun trying to make rafts with pallets. Luckily we only had a stream to cross. Such fun, apart from when my 5yo brother fell on a rusty nail and had to go to hospital for a tetanus shot and a stitch in his knee without anaesthetic. His reward was a kit kat, bless him.

Anyone remember Pierrot? My bedroom was plastered with him, until it was replaced with posters of Harrison Ford and the Professionals. Lewis Collins, yum.

Also Blakes 7. I weirdly had a crush on Avon. Mainly his voice, I think. Also had a crush on whatsisname from To the Manor Born. My teenage hormones had a strangely middle aged flavour.

I had a Pierrot diary. It took me until about April to bring myself to sully its perfect pages 😂 (a problem I still have with new notebooks).

@Whatafool123 I had a major Pierrot phase, full themed bedroom - the bed set, lamp, you name it!!

Oh my late sister had a big Pierrot phase as well. And Fido Dido, whatever he was. This thread is much more reminiscent of her childhood than mine although I relate to the later toys / TV and cultural references, but it's weirdly comforting to read and relate to her.
