hi,

can anyone help please?

Ive gone for a variation through cm, as i know what cm have said his take home pay is is no were near what it really is as he owns his own company's. Cm haven't really been helpful when ive asked them, but what will they take into account from the company? He pays for everything through his business and takes home as little as he can. Ive seen something about dividends but I think he just pays them back to the company. I get pennies off him, i wouldn't be bothered but im the one who pays for everything, child care, clothes Ect and he laughs in my face about me struggling and tells me how much hes made when i ask him for anything, im sick of it now and i need the extra help, i work & im a uni student and i just don't know where i stand or what to be expecting from doing the variation.

We ended up with a tribunal - ex found it awkward to lie to the judge about his income. It took ages- had a covid delay- got there in the end.

Watching with interest. I'm in exactly the same position OP.

What do they take into account? Is it the just the dividends?? I can not find anything about it. He has a limited company and basically said that its untouchable because he puts the dividends back into the company🙄

Its ridiculous, i dont get why some dads dont want to help their own child have a better life.

Yes my ex has a limited company too. He is highly qualified in his profession and can get at least 130 an hour. He pays my daughter £50 a month and has told CMS he earns £180 a week. Its disgusting that they can get away with it.
His lifestyle doesn't match up to what he says he earns and there isn't much I can do about it.
It's so hard to get CMS to listen or take it further. And my ex is very good at hiding his money.
I really wish the government would get very strict on these deadbeat dads

Also my ex has no contact with DD his choice. And I have no contact details for my ex. The CMS asked me to provide proof that he lives a very very high maintenance lifestyle. Surly that's their job to prove? The only proof I have is if I stalk his social media. That's not going to qualify as evidence in a court

my ex has a very good company and has lots of employees, he makes grands a day for jobs, I googled his company to get the number for it as he wouldn't answer his mobile to them, and i took screenshots off the gov website that say he is the director to send them in as evidence as they have accepted it as proof!

Oh that's handy to know. I think I'll do the same as it does state he is director of the company.
Good luck. I hope you get somewhere and get the money that your child deserves. Keep us updated if you can

@Lou167 check out Companies House website online. If ex has a registered company there will be all sorts of financial information available on there.
