I had my top wisdom tooth numbed today for a partial root canal. Now the numbness is gone there’s pain when I open my mouth where the needle went in ! Was told this is more common with bottom teeth not top . Anyone know if this is normal ?

There's pain because a needle went into your gum.

Thanks everyone , never experienced it previously, so wondering if pregnancy has made my gums more sensitive hence the pain . Took paracetamol and it’s went away now
