So I have some boneless and skinless chicken thighs that have todays date. If I cook them today can I use some to have for my dinner tomorrow at work? Won't get poorly will I 🫣

Yes it's fine and no you won't get ill.
Cook thoroughly and keep in the fridge.

Seconded It's fine to cook today
Time to marinade too, if that's your thing

I came on here to say cook today, eat tomorrow but have been beaten to it more than once!

If you cook them today, you can eat them until Thursday.

Depends if it smells, You can cook tomorrow as long as they dont smell off, use by dates are still usually good for a few days. Things dont magically go off at midnight on the use by date.

Denise82 · 12/06/2023 14:55

Just realised you want them for lunch and not to eat today, that will also be fine 🙂

Lcb123 · 12/06/2023 14:57

I’d cook and eat tomorrow. Those dates are very conservative, sometimes even 1 week earlier than it would actually go off

WitchyPoos · 12/06/2023 15:45

I've smelt them and they smell fine. Seasoned them up and whacked in oven. DS can have for tea tomorrow and I can take some to work. Tea was already in slow cooker and hate throwing things out, especially these days was kicking myself I didn't check them

You can cook it tomorrow. It wont spoil at the stroke of midnight!!!
And after you cook it, you can eat it for about a week after!
