My bestie wore coffee shimmer and I wore heather shimmer… she wore ‘Cachet’ perfume but I was a ‘Charlie’ girl!😁
Im sure I’ve got an Amethyst shimmer in my old make up drawer even now!
Such happy days… left school in 1981 in a cloud of ‘Rive Gauche’ cos we were grown-ups then….

I did not use either Heather shimmer or Coffee shimmer. I cannot remember which Rimmel lipsticks but I loved Miners purple haze and had a honey tasting lipstick which was golden pink Also loved Outdoor Girl and Mary Quant (saved up forever for MQ!)

All you posh perfume wearers! Surely the chicest option was to rub the scented bit from the magazine adverts on your wrists. J17 for something sporty and cool, More if you were feeling slutty.

I remember dixyland pink lipstick. Isn't it bizarre that you could then actually try them on. Now I'd think 🤢

Ooh! I’d forgotten Outdoor Girl!! Saved up for their ‘Limelight’ lipstick… frosty pinky brown I think. Also had Miners ‘mates’ eyeshadow duo, pale blue + dark blue and also their brown block mascara which you had to dampen spit on to use…

I seem to recall there was a nice nude shade, was it bday suit? Or failing that sometimes a concealer stick doubled as lipstick!!

I've literally just bought one of each in Morrison's! There are no testers so no idea if they are the same as I remember but Heather shimmer used to be my favourite lipstick bac in the day

You could still just buy it in boots/anywhere with a Rimmel shelf set last time I checked.
