A member of family (50 y/o lady) is in hospital for the forseeable. As well as magazines/puzzlers is there any ideas on what to get her to occupy her time?

does she have full use for her arms/hands?
cross stitch
a tablet with Netflix to down load films (and headphones)
use voice software to write poems/emails or a novel!
crochet/tatting
laptop and ask hospital about positioning

If she has internet then online gaming on the tablet. Look at Geoguessr/ chronophoto etc it doesn’t have to be space invaders!

A subscription to Disney+ or Netflix so she can binge watch. And a super long charger cable for her ipad

Definitely a long charging cable and headphones

is there any Wi-Fi? If so maybe Netflix or such like

kindle easier to hold than a book and can be read in the dark

audio books for times she want to have something passive to do

crochet/cross stich/knitting (Bella coco on YouTube is good to learn crochet)

puzzle book (pencil rather than pen)

ear plugs and eye mask. (Easier to cope with hospital if you can get some good rest)

Is she a reader? I would have gone mad during 3 weeks in hospital not long ago, without my Kindle.
