Hello - going on a family beach type holiday in a couple of weeks and need to make a list of what to pack. Haven't been away for a few years so I'm out of practice at remembering everything we need to take.
Does anyone have a foolproof list?
2 x adults
1 x autistic teenager
1 x 11 yr old

Thanks!

Extension lead or a travel plug with multiple USB ports.
suncream
mosquito repellent (odomos cream).
phone charging cables
cheap lightweight cool bag and small blocks to freeze to take drinks / food to beach.
sunhat
if self catering a couple of tea towels / dishcloth. Your own tea bags & coffee.
Hammam towels for the beach. Lightweight and small to pack and quick to dry. Amazon do ones that are the length of the sunbed.
Usual clothes, swimwear and underwear
medication
holiday documents / passports / travel
insurance
take a pic of your passports and documents to keep on your phone
holiday money.
ill add more as I think

Hotel? B&B? Tent? Caravan? Self catering cottage?
And where are you going? There's a big difference between Iceland and Torremolinos

Greece - hotel

Clothes, swimming costumes, passports, wallet. Everything else you need you can buy there if you forget it - they have supermarkets.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I know there are supermarkets there but we are a fair distance from one and won't have a car so I'd rather go well prepared.

Apart from all the usual bits like charger, beach towels, suncream, first aid kit, travel insurance and credit card, we concentrate a lot on DD's requirements.

She (16) has severe anxiety and we are waiting for the ASD diagnosis. The most important bits for her are:

several stress toys, at least one in each bag and also in the suitcases

at least one more set of headphones (in ear) in case the cable breaks as she has the habit of playing with them

whatever stuffed toys she currently favours

any other comfort item, in the past we took small pillows, fleece blanket, fluffy cardigan with us

her favourite way to relax and easy to transport are pads of paper and colouring pencils

Also, pool toys like snorkle, diving sticks, small balls. Take water shoes if there is the smalles chance the beach has pebbles.

Thank you so much.

Yes it's these type of things that I would be likely to forget but that make such a BIG difference!
