What would you think (cancer)

A friend has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. I haven’t seen her since but I’ve spoken to her and we text (she lives at the other end of the country). She’s just had an operation and when I text her to ask how she was she said she was doing ok but not good long term.

I think she may mean she’s been told it’s terminal. What would you think.

Yes I would assume that

yeah, prognosis not good is what that means.

Good thing if you can find a chance to ring up & try to encourage her to talk about her situation, as much as she wants to share.

I'd think it was non treatable & thus terminal, but possibly not for a long term

BUT 🤞🏼She might mean surgery, chemo, etc & be feeling like she just can't go through it again.
