Yes I’ve been reading about this today and found it horribly upsetting. I’ve been that woman lying in bed during cancer treatment while partner rants abuse at me in front of the kids. There’s some video footage on YouTube that she did secretly that shows just what sort of man he is.

Hmmm. I'm not sure tbh. By reading both links, I started off feeling sorry for her and thought they have done her wrong.
But then the 2nd link, said she stole someone's identity and tried to defraud them maybe, financially? A relative too. By this I am wondering if she did this in sheer desperation or whether it says something of her character.
Also she has wrote she will go to Switzerland due to assisted suicide but where she lives, Canada, it supports assisted suicide. So did she say this because she knows she will get more support as most people are more aware of Switzerland?
I am not saying her husband is any good, he may well be all those things and more but I'm wondering if the picture she paints of herself is also correct.
Could it be both sides?
Either way, I feel sorry for the children. It must be hard for them to be stuck in the middle and to hear of their mum passing too in those circumstances.

The relationship was clearly very toxic and no doubt there were mistakes on both sides but I find it absolutely heartbreaking that she was deprived of any access to her children. The husband paid experts large sums to basically lie about her.

Yes. That is true. Absolutely agree with that. No mum deserves to be deprived of her children and no child deserves to be deprived of their mum.

Imagine how traumatised the daughters will be when they are older and able to read back over the case

Appalling behaviour from her husband. I do wonder how the girls will feel when they do see the details of the case when they're older.

I knew someone who lost her children to a rich bully. She ended up as an alcoholic and died of liver failure. She loved her children, but he turned them against her. She was no saint, but she didn't deserve to never see them again. They were all she talked about and she'd get drunk and cry about them.

Rich men using the family court system to abuse ex wives and alienate children is quite common. It happens in certain closed communities as well when mothers manage to escape, but then find their children removed from them.

Nobody deserves to lose their children unless they've abused or severely neglected them.
