We've booked Crete for a holiday. Usually when we go away (other European holiday destinations), we don't take Euros with us, just get cash from the cash points when we need it or use card payments in restaurants. Is Crete any different? Should we be taking Euros in advance?
I wasn't going to do anything different but MIL thinks we should be taking a trip to the Bureau de Change and changing money before we go.
Anyone with recent experience of Crete?
