Why on earth did I agree to a sleep over

I’ve agreed to my 8 year old having a friend to sleep over. It’s bloody midnight and they’re still awake. Why did I agree to it???!!!! Worse still is she’s a nightmare when she’s overtired

Who cares if it’s midnight? You’re an adult, I’m sure you’ll be fine. Sleepovers are so fun for children…just ask them to keep it down and go to bed!

Fine to be awake but not fine to be loud or bothering anyone else in the house.

I'd make it clear she can't have another sleepover until she understands this.

My daughter is way to mischievous for me to go to bed while she is awake with a friend over.

They’re at least quiet now.

Midnight. That's early in this house for sleepover kids to be asleep. I hate them with a passion but do host them a few times a year as the kids love them so much.

Can’t see any problem? I don’t know why you need to be awake because they are.
