How often do you NC?

I NC with pretty much every new thread and it’s stacking up to be several a week. I don’t know if this is allowed but I’m guessing so. Partly I don’t want to be identified IRL (sure this is why everyone name changes) and also in case anyone attempts to search for my previous posts when I reply or comment, which I’ve seen happen to others.

I've changed names a few times, in case anyone recognises me.

I’ve got around 20 and have been here 5 years so not as regularly as you. If I’m starting a thread about something I think could be identified, I name change. I often use the same name to reply on different boards.

Constantly, I'm running out of ideas of names at the moment (hence this naff one)

Haha I think yours looks like a normal one really. It’s daft to think this way but I was thinking, I hope it’s allowed to change as many times as I do! I guess I can’t see why not

Regularly! I wish to remain anonymous, it's as simple as that. It's one of the things I really like about Mumsnet and it reminds me in a weird way, of when I lived in London - so many people, but it's perfectly possible to "fly under the radar", and exist anonymously, as appose to living in a small village where everyone knows everyone and their business 😅

Rarely. My teens know my user name so if it's something I don't want them to know I use an alternative. But mostly I try not to post anything that I'd mind anyone else knowing. I'm not big on secrets and keeping the name makes me THINK before I post.
