I am thinking about getting one of these - worth every penny or a waste of money?

Depends - what do you particularly want it for? What are your alternatives? We wanted one that would ring our phones as well as the bell, and where we could let delivery people know we were out and where to leave parcels if they rang it and we weren’t there. Works great.
You have to pay a monthly subscription to save videos, and the more recording you set it to do (motion sensitivity, area of detection etc) the quicker batteries get used up.

I got a eufy doorbell so there was no monthly subscription to pay (although they are more expensive upfront)

Lovely if you want to get parcels delivered and tell the driver where to hide them, I can hear my ndn telling the driver their hiding place from my bedroom so people walking along the street can hear too. They have had stuff stolen, but they still do it. I’m not stopping anyone rummaging in their ‘special place’ taking stuff, if they want the whole world to know then too bad!

Lucky us, we get to hear every ring conversation too. Hoped they’d realise but it’s been weeks now and still as loud. Maybe some passer by will consider themselves lucky soon and they’ll realise.
