Leg hair eraser type things

Lots of things coming up in my Facebook feed about leg erasers for leg hair. Are they just a round bit of sand paper? I have so many in grown type hairs as I don’t shave my legs every day all year round I know look like I haven’t shaved even when I use a blade razor now.
Anyone used one and it worked or any suggestions?

I took a chance on a cheap one - very happy with the results!
Smooth legs, no hair, and no ingrown hairs from using it either.

Only problem i've found is that if my leg hairs are quite long it takes a little while to get rid of them, but the ease of being able to do it sat watching tv negates that being a problem!

@ZombiePara thanks! What did you get/from where? To save me buying something random from Amazon!

Ooh watching with interest, my hair is too blonde for a lumea so these sound great.

You can get the from boots/Superdrug for a couple of quid.

It's a bit of a faff doing your whole legs from scratch but it's quite good if you are at a festival or something where shaving is a pain and they make your legs super smooth so perfect for before a fake tan

I love these cos it sort of takes the dead skin off too. Dead smooth hair free legs (good for face fuzz too)

QueenOfWeeds · 11/06/2023 13:12

Well this is a revelation. I always assumed they were painful and ineffective!

ZombiePara · 11/06/2023 13:33

@Setting I believe it was this one I bought! Although having seen them in shops they all look to be much of a muchness so i don't think you can go too wrong with it :)

Fairly effective but doesn't feel nice and a bit of a faff so I didn't persist. I think if you saw it as part of a self care exfoliation and skin softening routine it might work for some.

Thanks, these replies are more positive than I was expecting! Even if it just works on the areas with the stuck hairs I will be happy. At the moment I’m shaving those areas 20 times like a mad woman and it does nothing and picking at your ankle is hard work! Thanks @ZombiePara ill take a look

It’s not like Silkymitts is it (showing my age here) basically ultra fine sandpaper. I remember using one the jumping to the ceiling when I put body lotion on after.

bornintheuk2 · 11/06/2023 16:29

@OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow you must have rubbed too hard. That must have stung !!!

UnravellingTheWorld · 11/06/2023 17:35

I got one a while back and it did in fact feel like I was rubbing my leg with sandpaper. After about 5 min, a little patch was smooth. My skin was very tender and itchy for a while.

Haven't brought myself to use it a second time, 10 years later. Honestly it's faster and easier to just shave

AngryGreasedSantaCatcus · 11/06/2023 18:23

Be careful OP , you might not want your horniness gone with your hair .Grin

@AngryGreasedSantaCatcus alas I have no balls to attempt to sandpaper the hair off, but can see that would definitely reduce my horniness!
