Staircase stuff

What’s most likely to be found sitting on your stairs waiting for someone (almost certainly you) to take it up or down when passing?

My stuff includes clean towels and dirty mugs.

Nothing! A friend once broke a leg falling over stuff on the stairs when she was coming down the stairs, I’ve always think of the what ifs

Shit piled in the stairs infuriates me ether leave it where it is are put it where it should go

There's always stuff in my stairs waiting to go up! Currently DD's lip balm, a box of Lego, DS's helmet, a packet of screws, and a little pile of pennies.

Nothing. It's just not something we do.

I thought this was going to be about the Netflix documentary <disappointed>

Nothing . I have a stair basket but even that is invariably empty .

Washing to go upstairs to be put away
Items from shopping for the bathroom
Smart shoes from a rare night out waiting to be put away for another time

This is just so Lady Bracknell-ish. 'Things on the stairs? Good lord. We're not barbarians.' 😁

We currently have two library books and a deodorant awaiting ascent.

A little basket containing stuff to go upstairs! Also clean washing for the airing cupboard 😊

Nothing I take it up straight away

3 pairs of shoes, all mine.
The DC’s know that it is exclusively my space.

That sounds really dangerous. We have quite steep, narrow wooden stairs (Victorian house). I tell DS off if he leaves anything on them.

Socks, or things like deodorant that have just been bought and are ready to go up on the next trip.

Currently, loo roll, some of those blue IKEA bags and some shampoo and deodorant I’ve just bought.

I feel quite chastised with my staircase portage system 😆

Hair clips, bobbles and bits and bobs of the kids stuff! My stairs are pretty clear though if I put stuff on it to take up and I will take it up fairly quickly.

Clothes (eg a jumper someone left downstairs), waiting to go up.
Or shopping such as shower gel, toothpaste etc.

Spare toilet rolls or a clean hand towel for the downstairs toilet, waiting to come down.

Books, random paperwork, Guinea pig fleeces

I have a friend who used to be a spinal injury carer. He won’t let me leave anything on my stairs as it was a very common cause of spinal injuries.

Hoodie (hanging), kids book, a little box of screws on it's way home to the toolbox

Ohh what documentary? I'm intrigued.
