Worried it’s already sold? Thoughts

We’re interested in a house and there’s 3 different plots of the same house type available on the website, they’re all 3 beds and 2 storeys

When we rang earlier to book an appointment to view the sales rep did not mention these and said they only had one 3 bed still available which was over 3 storeys, which isn’t what we prefer

If they had been reserved they would be taken off the website immediately, right? They’re all still on there. There was 5 about a week ago so I know they do remove them if sold.

Under Offer and might fall through so not removed, and trying to get you to buy the one no-one wants?
Or just the last bit.

I reckon the last bit. We’ve just realised how tiny the kitchen is in comparison to the other three listed, and it’s on a main road whereas the other 3 are tucked away

Did you ask them about the one you wanted?

I have seen mention of some not too honest developers, might be worth a search to see if the one you are looking buying from is mentioned.

Hmm I fear it is. It’s our only
option onto the property ladder atm as we have a 5% deposit and they would top up to ten, can’t risk 5% deposit atm as we would end up in negative equity

Do try to find something else as a back up if one does suddenly become available though. Some of these developers are distinctly shady.
