EVRI have my parcel

I got this email from them yesterday, when do you think I’ll receive this? (looking for glimmers of hope here as want the skirt to wear tonight 😉) .

I usually receive the day after the 'Evri have your parcel' email, or at worst the day after that.

All this means is that they have collected it from the shop and they are processing it. It wont be delivered today for sure.

We can’t tell you, it depends on the delivery service. If the company has a 24 service with evri it will move fast, if not it won’t and will be held in the depot.

In my area that would mean it would arrive today, and probably before I went to work in the morning.

In other areas it would mean we have it and it will be delivered to someone elses bin in the next few days, on a street with a similar name to yours that is actually 3 hours away. Grin

Same here, outed would arrive by lunch time. I love our Evri driver. He’s the best we have ever had and knows how to use the box for parcels in the porch and will actually ring the bell rather than throwing them into next doors garden or in a random obscure location in our road.

As pp asked, click on the drop down for On Its Way. This will show where it is and when it got there.

If at local depot already, our courier usually gets it and delivers the same day in the early afternoon.

Aw, hope you get it today. Waiting for parcel deliveries has been known to take over my entire life for a few hours. The worst was my son's £350 Lego set which he had paid for out of his Christmas and birthday money! It got lost and I was having a nervous breakdown! Lego were brilliant though and sent a new one express delivery, which arrived the next day. Happy son, relieved mum (what was left of me🤣)

No idea if that means it’s coming today or not. Anyway, eyeing up another outfit for this evening and need to do some actual work.

When my Evri parcels are at the delivery depot that early in the morning I always get on that day.

Our Evri driver, Richard, is a gem, never had a problem and things even get delivered early!

If I order something and it's coming via Royal Mail I know I'm unlikely to ever see it!

I'm wondering if you're my neighbor, our main Evri driver is also called Richard and I've genuinely never not had a parcel sent by them not arrive promptly.

Royal mail on the other hand seem to deliver here once a week a best and it's hit and miss if you get a parcel delivery on top of the actual post delivery each week.

I don't think the skirt will be delivered today but that's only because it doesn't say put for delivery and most vans will be put delivering already, nothing to do with it being Evri delivering.

Good luck OP. I have found that getting an 'out for delivery' email from Evri doesn't actually mean it's going to turn up unfortunately.

We now seem to have a regular Evri driver and the last few parcels have arrived promptly. But for several months we clearly didn't, and things either didn't arrive at all or arrived 3 or 4 weeks late, after we'd already been sent a duplicate by the retailer.

One of the duplicate packages was a large item which the retailer said they would get Evri to come and collect. That was in January, and it's still here...

Every time I read threads about Evri, it makes me feel just that little bit luckier to have our driver! Parcels always arrive when expected, he’s so nice to our yard dogs and is always so smiley and cheerful!

Who knows. Evri say they tried to deliver my parcel last night at 7pm. No they didn't. I was weeding the front flower bed, they would have had to step over me to get to the front door.

And now they say they will try again next Thursday !😕

Never had a problem with Evri until this year and now two parcels have been lost and never received so I've had to have refunds. Good luck.

I think people's experience with couriers depends so much on the individual drivers. We've had excellent Evri couriers for several years and their service is very reliable and head and shoulders above other firms. If I'm not home, the courier always takes the time to hide parcels so they are out of sight, or he will sometimes take it away and pop back later.

I find Yodel dreadful, but my heart sinks if I find that something is being delivered by DPD - without exception their drivers are truly awful. Despite countless complaints, They refuse to ring the doorbell when they deliver packages and leave everything propped up against the front door in full view of the road. We have a real problem in my area with people following couriers when they are making deliveries and stealing parcels that are left in view.

If I get an email from Evri to say they've got a parcel, depending on the time of day, the parcel would either be delivered the same day or early the next.

You're right @Growlybear83 it does seem to depend on the individual drivers. Our old Evri courier was brilliant, he did the round for many years then retired. Yodel used to be appalling, but in the past year or so they have transformed and are very reliable. DPD in our area have always been great.

Agree with others it totally depends on the driver. The guy who delivers to our office is super, very helpful and friendly, always smiling, and on the odd occasion we've not yet been open to take delivery he's tried again later in the day if he's passing by. Meanwhile my home delivery driver is much more 'just do the bare minimum with no frills'. If I know something is coming with Evri I always have it delivered to work now.

It may do, in our area though they are normally 'out for delivery' by about 10:30 if they are coming that day, but it may be different where you live

I have only ever had one parcel go missing though and that did turn up a month later but by then JL had sent out another one so I just told Evri at the door to return it to JL, which they did. I have had a couple of broken parcels from Next but that has been mainly Next's fault for not packing them properly.

It's down to the area
Matty has just delivered to me as promised today and I've never had an issue
Yodel on the other hand... last time the delivery photo was a building I didn't even recognise!
