Help me mount my knife rack!

Not as exciting as the subject would suggest, sadly...

I bought this wall-mounted knife rack from John Lewis ages ago and now I can't find the instructions for mounting it - does anybody have it and could help out?

At a guess the magnetic strip is removable, revealing the backing plate with pre-drilled holes for mounting?

Yep, that's kind of the badger, but the backing plates that sit on the screws slide in and out of each end of the rack and I can't see how you then re-attach the rack at both ends.
