Would you ask for a courtesy car over long weekend?

Hi - quick question….
Our 5 month old brand new car has had an drivetrain error message come up yesterday. The car has been on garage twice in 2 weeks for a knocking sound which garage said they couldn’t find location of, or hear it.

We don’t know if the two are linked but it’s going in tomorrow as urgent.
However, I’m off on holiday Friday morning, so if my car can’t be fixed tomorrow, do you think it’s reasonable that I ask them for a courtesy car/demo car until I’m back, next Monday night/ Tuesday morning? Do garages (main dealer) give courtesy cars out for Friday-Monday? I don’t want to lose my holiday and we have no other car available for me to go there in.
WWYD?

If they've got one free, a weekend won't be a problem. It's not like they'll be lending them to anyone else if the mechanic section of the dealer ship is closed.

Aha that’s a good point. I will hope it’s fixed tomorrow but I’ll check about a car for the weekend then.
