Just watched Holly’s ‘speech’

Just watched it on YouTube.

Well it was very clear that it was scripted by ITV, but what on earth were they thinking?

Would it not have been better for them to just say nothing on Monday’s episode?

I thought that it was so cringey that it actually made me laugh out loud. It was so melodramatic and OTT, you would think someone had died!

And referring to Phil as they/their etc was just dire. Did they forget he has a name??

I watched it. All I could think about was why didn't Holly move that hair out of her eye. It was really bothering me. So no, I suppose I'm not OK.

Lee Nelson's version was funny, so I'm glad she gave us that

I can only assume it was directed at a few very lonely people for whom TV is the main contact with other humans. They'll have had some meeting where they talked about Philip and Holly being in people's living rooms every week day for years, and feelings of betrayal and "being kind" etc. It was cringe though. I only just saw it too.

Has anyone seen Katie Hopkin’s take on it? Omg, hilarious!
