What have I done to my face ! Toothpaste on spots

I've always put toothpaste on spots and for the last 3 days I've been doing it at night as I had some big arse huge ones appear on my chin its always helped draw them up and they then vanish, but yet this time my skin has gone really dry , rough and bumby like a rash . Picture attached
Any ideas what this could be and what I could now do to rectify it its making me really self conscious! What type of moisturiser if any would help it ?

Leave it alone. Don't touch it or put anything else on it. Toothpaste is really drying, that's why it seems to help with spots, but it's not great for the skin at all.

That looks like peri oral dermatitis to me. It can start if you break down the skins barrier. I did this with a face scrub. It's an absolute ball ache to get rid of. You need to just use water or something like cerave to wash with. No mdse up, no steroid cream. The best thing is Lyonsleaf zinc and calendula cream. It's on Amazon. If that doesn't work you need antibiotics.

I get this sometimes, sudocrem normally sorts it out.

If not you might need a steroid cream for the Drs.

It's a chemical burn. You can try moisturising the area but it will resolve itself over time.
