I don't know why, but the phrase "pair with" (e.g I'm looking for a white top to pair with these jeans", "I would pair that with a biker jacket") really just gives me the 😷.
Realise it's a first world problem but when people I know write it or say it I do a tiny little involuntary shudder.
Tiny shudder turns into a huge shudder if fashion is paired with a singular other half - "I would pair the jeans with a red lip" 😷😷😷😷😷
Anyone else like this or am I weird?
