Ibs, pregnancy and after birthdays

IBS sufferers, did your IBS get worse during pregnancy and after giving birth?

After giving birth 2 years ago, which involved episiotomy and forceps, I feel like I sometimes struggle to hold in gas and if I need to go I reaaally need to go immediately.

tmi but the gas is fowl smelling, could wipe out a whole town.

I’ve cut out dairy as this makes things worse for me.

What can I do to deal with my IBS? I’m also expecting my second.

Mine was really bad in my first pregnancy, disappeared after birth though. Fine in my second pregnancy and then has come back after birth this time. I've had c sections both times though. Not much helped during pregnancy, I couldn't take my medication, drank peppermint tea and a warm bath. I'm breastfeeding at the minute and am going back to docs as I again can't take medication
