Well I’ve just come back from seeing heptologist and it seems I’ve got to go from 5mg pred straight to 40mg and I’m quite frankly s……g myself! Anyone on long term steriods and had to go up to this level, dreading side effects already having trouble with hair loss etc on azathrioprine and being told to go from 50mg to 75mg . Been on pred for over ten years so used to the effects but never been higher than 15mg
