New Glasses. Time for *that* conversation again (lighthearted)

Any other glasses-wearers feel my pain on this? At work this morning:

Colleagues (various): Ooh, you look different today.
Me: Yes, I got new glasses yesterday.
C: No, that's not it. Have you had a haircut.
M: No, the only difference is my glasses
C: something about your make-up maybe? I just can't put my finger on it but your face looks different.
M: Yes, that will be the new glasses.
C: You've worn glasses forever. It's not that. I wish I could figure out what it is.
M: These are new glasses. They are a different size, shape and colour to the ones I wore yesterday. I think they give me a different look.
C: No it's not the glasses. I think it's your hair. Are you sure you haven't had it cut. You've definitely done something different.

Repeat with many other colleagues until another glasses-wearer arrives and immeadiately compliments the new specs.

I'm a glasses wearer and don't recognise this at all I'm afraid! Sounds like your colleagues are a bit dim!

How annoying!

Next time say you have a wooden leg!

I'm a glasses wearer and I've never experienced this.

Not even once!

Your colleagues sound a bit silly
