Folding ebike recommendations

Does anyone have a folding e bike? And would you recommend it?

My commute has changed so I have a 25 minute walk to the station and then another 15 mins approx the other end.

I think a folding ebike would be a good solution.

I have looked at non electric folding bikes but think I'd get a lot more use out of an electric one.

I've looked at Volt metro and the Wisper. Does anyone have either of these? Have they worked out as a commuting bike?

Morning @sundaefunday, it is just the same as my other Brompton when folded so that’s ok plus the battery bag over my shoulder but that’s ok.

One thing that is slightly annoying is that when folded the seat post isn’t as compact as my original Brompton. Not sure why but it doesn’t fit dead upright in the boot of my car (whereas my old one definitely did). I keep wondering if I was given a tall seat post by mistake and mean to have a good look at it at home (in case it is me!) but I always seem to forget.

Oh and I never left my old one anywhere either 😂. I wish the front bags were nicer as I’d use the shopping trolley mode in the supermarket on my way home.

@Berninaa - have you looked at hill and Ellis bags? They have a range designed for Brompton bikes also

I have seen them thank you @Caspianberg and the aesthetic is lovely but they don’t fit the e Brompton. I also want something completely waterproof and they’re only water resistant.

I’ve actually got a brand new ortleib O bag because I bought a spare one a few years ago when it was discontinued. That has to be the 👑 of Brompton bags for me, smart, practical, 200% waterproof…. But that doesn’t fit the e Brompton either.

The choices seem to be the bigger e bag or two ugly baskets,

I’ll probably just use one of my ortleib panniers on the rack once it’s fitted and 🤞that something nicer to look at than the current range emerges one day soon.
