Does your town/city have a "Boden belt"?

My friend just made me laugh, describing how she's accidentally moved to her town's "Boden belt", and school runs are full of mums in their 40s all really skinny, toned, and with the image/style of those Boden models (slouchy trousers, etc., on skinny frames). Is this a thing? I have to say, most of the mums in their 40s everywhere I've lived are similar to me - probably a bit mumsy and filling out - and I've lived in a number of pretty middle class areas. Has everyone else heard of "Boden belts" where all the mums look like that?!

Like a PP, I'm in the tractor/wellies belt, but there's a Boden belt a few miles away. I recall them infiltrating our baby and toddler group with their Cath Kidston changing bags, Breton tops and very clean 4x4's because we had the best cakes!

@uncomfortablydumb53 Ooh my doctors practice is where I think you are!! I do think folks get the wrong impression here - it's actually a pretty mixed city overall - a fair bit of Primark going on too as well as Boden etc!! I've made some nice friends here in last 6 years and all are a bit quirky!

We’re with the overworked and haggered crowd . Mostly leggings with a baggy jumper. I’ve seen knickers on the pavement twice on the school run. Not because anyones putting their keys in a bowl but because they’ve put them on in a rush and their undies have fallen out of trouser legs from the day before. I definitely still had my socks tucked into my trouser legs as I got out the car this morning

I'm up for it ladies, if any of you are!! Although judging the style and beauty thread about sea salter at the moment- I do have to confess I wear a lot of the dreaded Fat face , M&S etc (at 61 they fit!) rather than Cos etc- so if you are a style snob- I promise to find a dark corner!!

I've never been there but I have heard it's posh along with Bunny and Ruddington!
