We have 2 cats and a dog at the moment.
All apart from the dog all were rescue animals
The rabbits that were caught by the fox had decided they were never going back into their safe hutch and run and wanted to live under the decking. One was caught with a bite and got an infection we just couldn't shift. A young cub came into the garden in the middle of the day while my mum was out doing the gardening. Rabbits would free range during the day. Fox was so brazen. Many might say we shouldn't have let the rabbits free range and were irresponsible but they were very happy and incredibly healthy otherwise, never had issue with teeth, nails or skin, ate grass and other forage. Kept in pairs and had a large shed and access to a large run when not out for the day. Better care for than most pet rabbits left in tiny hutches day after day alone.
When you list out your lifetime pets then at the age KP is it isn't inconceivable to have lost a lot of pets.
KP obviously has a lot of issues but I don't think kicking someone when they are down is helpful.
