100-200 kcal night time snack, not UPF if possible

Hi. I normally have a slimfast shake half an hour before bed so I don't try to sleep feeling hungry. I'd like to reduce my UPFs, so I want to ditch the shake. Please does anyone have some 100-200 kcal ideas of easy snacks I can have before bed that aren't UPFs?

TIA

Banana with peanut butter

Cheese?

Nuts if you want the least processed option

Love natural Greek yoghurt, blueberries and slivered almonds here as a snack. It feels luxurious.

Don't know if plain yoghurt is UPF though? Can't be surely?

Greek yoghurt. Milk is good for sleep and it has probiotici.

A handful of berries or a slice of cantaloupe or two.

Apple slices with peanut butter
Greek Yogurt with homemade granola (this is my go to)

kegofcoffee · 05/06/2023 15:14

Kvarg yoghurt is my go to. 80 kcal and 15g of protein. Super filling.

Sometime I add some fruit, granola, or a crumbled up biscoff to the top

Are pickles considered processed? (Eg sauerkraut, gherkins). I always find them surprisingly filling for v few calories.

or a large raw carrot as they take ages to eat.

Porridge
Nuts/seeds
popcorn
carrot/celery and hummus or peanut butter
fruit/dried fruit
Roasted chickpeas

Half a tub of full fat cottage cheese ( 125g, about 130 kcal)
1 or 2 eggs boiled or scrambled plus a few cherry tomatoes.

I have half a ball of mozzarella.

A digestive with a slice of cheese. Slice of toast with butter or peanut butter. Greek yoghurt with fruit. Apple with cheese or peanut butter. Nuts & dried fruit.

Personally, I often have a digestive and a cup of decaf tea before bed, which is satisfying as it's hydrating as well.

Good quality chocolate isn't necessarily UPF - for instance, I like the Green and Blacks 85% dark and the only ingredients are cocoa mass, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and sugar. Have a few squares of that with a few nuts.

Can you not eat your dinner a bit later so you aren’t hungry at bed time?
My suggestion would be a slice of toast with this spread of butter.
