Things that 'feed your psyche'

Not a TAAT but someone mentioned in another thread, regarding a poster who still experienced puzzlement about a trivial matter from some years back, that this poster obviously wanted to revisit this matter because it 'fed her psyche' in some way-which got me thinking that I too do this. Is it normal?

For example I sometimes remember a post I made on here or elsewhere from quite some time ago and go and re-read it. I don't know why. Or I think about times I've done something good or been proud of myself, or pleasant conversations or days-and think about them. Or times (like for example one time my friend got very drunk and ruined my birthday!) that weren't great but that I am okay about now. Is this just me (and that one poster)?
Do you do anything like this, or is my brain broken? 🤔

No I don't do this but each to their own!

Obviously something wrong with me! I do wonder what it is about doing this that I find helpful or comforting.

I rewatch old TV shows because it feels comfy.

Sounds like you’re adept at processing your emotions and you’re going back over old ground to this end. Good for you op.

I do that too, @7worfs !

@ItsCalledAConversation I always saw it as a bit weird, a negative thing!
