Can anyone identify what animal left these droppings?

I may not reply immediately- on my way to work.

putting washing out this morning and noticed this on the path - our garden backs on to a wild, wooded area.

can anyone identify the animal from the droppings?!

That’s a 5p piece in the image for size - I retrieved it from my washing machine. Failed to check my son’s pockets thoroughly!

This looks like ones we have in our garden and I know we have a family of hedgehogs that live in the garden so would agree with PP.

That's great - love a hoggy! I thought that they were too small so I was wrong! Is there anything I should do to help them out?
