How would I go about getting someone (a genealogist?) to trace my family tree?

Any idea how much this would cost?

My father did, he’d got stuck with his research. After about a year of being stuck a genealogist managed to find the info he needed within about a week. I couldn’t tell you how much he’d paid but definitely worth it!
