16 months was constant infections

My 16 month old has been getting infections like ear infections,throat infection,chest infections every month since November Been on antibiotics every time, he doesn't go nursery either.. Doctors have booked him in for blood tests. Has anyone else's child that this and what was the outcome? As im getting so worried about it
