Restaurants near Twickenham Stadium

I'm off to Twickenham Stadium in two weeks to see Depeche Mode. Thinking that I might meet my friends earlier and get something to eat before the gig (if they fancy it). I've never been there before so don't know the area. Are there any reasonable places to eat really close by - and by reasonable I mean cheap! We'll be getting the train so don't really want to go out of our way.

Thanks for the reply @MrsDanversGlidesAgain . I hoped a local would come along! I'm vegetarian but eat all cuisines. Not sure about 2 of my friends but I don't think they're too fussy.

Come out of the station

Opposite the station - M Bar and Grill

Turn left, walk down London Road

The Shack
Wetherspoons
Sheesh Mahal
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Another Mexican place

Turn left at the bottom of London Road into King Street

Pizza Express
Italian restaurant
Thai restaurant (places open and close a bit fast in Twickenham so I can't recall all the names)
Couple of Indian restaurants
German Kebab place

Veggie? Indian might be your best bet, of which there are several.

Just checked out the menu - looks lovely. Right up my street - my mouth is watering 😀.

Twickenham has its faults but at least you can't starve to death thanks to the RFU and all those rugby fans needing food 😅
