Mini pill & menopause

Hi there

This is probably a really stupid question, but I have been on the mini pill a while now and haven't had a single period. With that in mind, how will I know when I'm menopausal? I do run hot and cold but that may well be weather related at the moment

I was on the mini pill for 8 years but I definitely knew as the mini pill doesn’t contain oestrogen so you’ll have the same menopausal symptoms as you normally would - well I did anyway! - as your own oestrogen will drop and you won’t be replacing it as you would if you were taking the combined pill or HRT. I stayed on the mini pill and just added in utrogestan and Oestrogel for HRT when I needed to.
