Febreze for hair?

piddocktrumperiness · 03/06/2023 10:30

Is there an equivalent? That is not dry shampoo?
I am looking for something to spray on my hair when my hair and scalp are clean but I've been cooking or went to a restaurant or coffee shop and come back where my hair absorbed the odours.

Any ideas?

You could take one for the team and try actual Febreze......then report back and tell us how it went? 😁

I tried it accidentally when I reached for the hairspray but grabbed the air freshener instead. Not recommended, too sticky, smelt good though!

You can get hair perfume as well, though I’ve never tried that.

Hair freshener or hair perfume x

Diptyque do a hair mist, but it's expensive (£55 for a small bottle) and the scent doesn't last as long as it should for that price!

Jo Malone do hair mists, never tried them though

LittleFreakJezebel · 03/06/2023 11:54

My sol de janeiro body spray says it's for hair as well as the body but I've never actually tried it.

Dunno what my body chemistry is but perfume on my skin never lasts long. So I mist my hair instead. Whether this approach would work with hair that has cooking smells in it is debatable, would want to smell of Chanel Eau de fat fryer.

I used to use actual febreze on my hair, back in the day when pubs/clubs allowed smoking and a late night meant no time to wash hair before work Blush It worked fine!

Avon do one.

The Body Shop ones or spray your usual scent into the air and let it fall on your hair.
Some of the spray leave-in conditioners and sea-salt sprays are a bit fragrant

Brilliant- thank you all. Never heard of hair mists but I shall look into it.

I did try Febreze but it left my hair dry and brittle afterwards :(

You can just spray your brush, works well.
