Giant noisy car exhausts

I don’t think I noticed them much before but since having DS 2 who is a terrible sleeper, whenever I hear a car flying down the road with their exhaust roaring I get inner rage. It’s just not what you want to hear when you’re trying to relax for the night or get a decent sleep. I’m also always convinced it is going to wake DS up. What is the appeal? I just don’t get it 🤔

We’ve got one near us. They should be illegal.

Its because they have little penises so need to have a loud exhaust for their ego boost

If it's a '69 Charger like in your GIF I'd forgive it, but it's usually a crappy Corsa or Civic isn't it!?

I wish they would be banned, they’re utterly pointless.

They are illegal. Motorbikes have them more than cars. There was even a bloody campaign "loud exhausts saves lives". But it's really to sound like a race car / bike and is bloody selfish.
