Summer duvet recommendations

We have a 13.5tog feather duvet that I love but is too much in the summer (especially in our new build bedroom that rarely goes under 22C after May!)

Do we just need a smaller tog, or is there something you recommend for keeping cool? I'm not a fan of just blankets, I do like to have some weight!

You need a much lighter duvet, far lower tog number. Try something around 4 tog for the summer. We use a bamboo fibre filled duvet in summer but a very light weight wool filling would also be good.

Definitely recommend a wool duvet, they are magic! I don't understand how they work, but they're warm in winter and cool in summer.

(I would keep my lovely winter one so not worried if this is too lightweight for winter)

I'm sure that would do it. We have a thicker one as I wanted an all seasons one which we don't have to swap over in summer. All I would say is to expect them to be thinner than a down or acrylic duvet. They don't look as good on the bed as a fluffy down duvet but it's worth it for the cool / warm qualities it has.

Love my m and s cotton filled duvet, think it's about 2 tog

Got it on eBay "new without tags"

The cotton is def less sweaty

This looks similar though I do have a king-size I think
