Yes, I know, I am starting yet another blooming thread but seriously why the big hoo ha about ‘losing everything’? That’s another fib isn’t it Phil. The man is 61 with huge funds behind him. How many non-noncy, honest law-abiding citizens, on average salaries, lose their jobs at that age and find it difficult to get back into the workplace so take early retirement?
They don’t make a such song and dance about it, despite the impact it has on their finances. Quite often they start putting more backing into society through volunteering, though it’s true Phil isn’t going to be welcome as a reading buddy in schools anytime soon.
