Anyone awake? I'm bored

We're staying in a hotel, dh 2 x teenage boys and me all in one room.
I'm wide awake, I'm not a great sleeper at the best of times. As lovely as it is to see the males in my life asleep I'm bored.
Anyone else got a lovely day planned? We're going home today, got a stop off in lakeside and then home and I might go straight to bed :-)

I went to a beekeeper the other day to buy 10 bees. So I come home with my box of bees but then notice there's 11. So I phone the beekeeper and said he's given me one extra. He said...

"Don't worry. IT'S A FREEBEE!"

Have you got some chalk tummy tablets, couldn't hurt to use one.

My Nan used to swear by making a cuppa and going back to bed, after drinking the tea you go straight to sleep!

It’s my 40th today 🥳 We’ve been glamping this week (surprise trip) and I’m currently wide awake with my DH and 2 DC sleeping soundly within arms reach. Fresh air is good for exhausting the children, they’ve slept brilliantly. I didn’t think I’d sleep well tonight but that’s okay. I can currently hear the wind through the trees, an owl and the gentle “purr” of my wonderful DH 🥰 I’d like to get a bit of sleep before sunrise as I think there’s a busy weekend ahead but we’ll see!

Absolutely. Knowing they’re here, safe, happy and have had a wonderful week means the world to me. I’m not looking forward to the years when they go out and I’ll be waiting for the key in the door to know they’re safely in their bed for the night!
