What's the latest on The Schofield drama? There's a lot more to come out apparently....

I hope she does. She will always manage to draw in more viewers long term than the alternatives unless Amanda Holden is up for it again!

If she is telling the truth about not knowing then that is the only way to demonstrate it. Even if she goes the following week. It's not like a proper live audience show where she would be booed and heckled.

think they use that break to move things along and start a fresh when they return in autumn

Good for her. She shouldn't be slaughtered because of the actions of her co presenter. She wasn't complicit in the abuse of a minor. Only one person to blame in all of this.

Everyone's ready to jump on her I think but it's not her that's done all this either way.
Don't know what the answer is though. It's turned into this massive thing

I am shocked at her instagram comments. Everyone is out for blood. I think there's a lot of bad feeling and the show needs a fresh start.

I hope it will go ok when she's back but there are so many people who want to jump on her

The whole “This Morning” brand is now toxic. People know (if they didn’t before) that they aren’t a big happy bunch of friends, and I don’t think the public will trust the programme if HW stays.
She may not have known what PS was up to but by all accounts she’s not a particularly nice person, so she should go.

I think the media has exposed the fake and toxic environment of the show so even if she does return on Monday, my guess is a revamp over the summer to start in September

They did make quite a good job of pretending they were friends, and seemed to get on really well.

Seems they pretty much all hated one another, and the environment has been toxic for some years.

I know a few workplaces like this actually, where everyone seemed happy and content and all pals, and then half of them stabbed the other half in the back/threw them under the bus/grassed them up etc, to advance themselves in the company, or to creep around someone higher up etc.

I dont know how she will discuss grooming /abuse of any kind when she was in a team for 17 yrs with one . this surely is now a problem
