I can’t get the smart parking app to work - how do I pay for parking?

I’m here now and have no idea how I’m going to get out!

Hi! You don't actually need the app to do anything (it's annoying that they don't explain this).

Once you're registered they have you're license number (and I think payment info as well?) you just drive out and they deduct the payment. You'll get an email

Oh forgot to say, there are cameras which take photos of your car, the gates should automatically lift when you exit

I've never done this but I assume you can just enter your number plate and it'll tell you what you owe? Otherwise I'm sure there are attendants you can ask. You'll be fine! Update on how it goes

Sorry for the many replies. But they are a ticketless carpark and not everyone has the app, you just get a discount if you do. So there must be machines

There are machines next to the doors into the car park - you pay at them, you put in your number plate and it tells you how much. You can even use contactless to pay at the barrier when driving out but it can be a bit slow and annoy drivers behind!

I escaped! There were indeed machines near the lifts!
