Hi... Looking to buy a cookbook for my friends teenage daughter so she can cook with her Mum. Most of the ones on Amazon have American recipes.
I looked at the Dorling Kindersley ones but they look a bit young.
Any ideas please.

Delia Smith Complete Cookery course is how I learned to cook. You don't really need anything else, I covers everything.

My DDs all enjoy the Sam Stern books. Written by a teen for teens. They still use them now they are at uni.

Have a look at Sorted Food on YouTube. My ds loved it when he was a teenager, and still regularly uses a couple of their books.

I second Sam Stern 'Cooking up a Storm'

"The Dairy Book of Home Cookery." Really no-nonsense recipes, has pretty much everything.

Have ordered Cooking Up A Storm!
