Calling all red heads!

Blatant post for traffic.

This is driving DD, who's an orange braided, green-eyed, pale skinned (imho) beauty to distraction.

Since she was about 10, she's always had a dry cluster of spots, small spots, not whiteheads nor blackheads, but mostly flat spots and some tiny lumps, around her nostrils. They're not painful.

Nothing clears them up.

Her skin care routine is good. She isn't a heavy make up user (mostly concealer and mascara) but removes it well.

She's not a sun-goer. She's otherwise healthy. GP has dismissed it to teenage skin.

She's seen this on other ginger headed kids but doesn't want to ask them.

She's 17 now and is very conscious of them.

So, any red-heads out there that also has this? Is it connected to her colouring? Help!

I have a 10 year old red head and she doesn’t have this - yet. Could you try a dermatologist? Just as a one off consult. I’m not in the UK so not sure how it works there.

I’m from a family of red heads: me a sibling, cousin, nephew and nieces and none of us have this not sure it’s a red head ‘thing’ tbh
