2FOR1 Days Out / National Rail

I'd like to take advantage of the 2FOR1 Days Out promotion that National Rail runs. Posting here for traffic - apologies - but I wonder if anyone can give me advice please?

If there are 6 of us wanting to visit an attraction, do I need to make three separate bookings (so two people on one code) - or can I just book it all together once using one code? Thanks.

The T&Cs say:
For 2FOR1 vouchers: only one discount voucher may be used per two people.

The FAQs say:
How many vouchers can I download?
You can download up to 3 vouchers per attraction at any one time. For example, if you have selected a 2FOR1 offer it will cover your entry for up to 6 people. You can add as many attractions as you like to your basket before completing your download.

Hmmm, not sure what you mean by bookings and codes - are you wanting to pre-purchase your entry ticket? I’ve always just downloaded the vouchers and printed them off, that way if we change our minds about going we’ve lost nothing. Anyhow, we download one voucher and print which allows two people in. You’d need to download three. I know this from previous experience years ago after having downloaded only one voucher for four people - expensive mistake!

Thanks @Moooooooooooooooooo. So if I pre-book online do I need different vouchers and their corresponding codes? And if so, do I need to make different bookings - one for each vouchers for a pair of tickets?

Sorry, Chicken, I really don’t know. As I said above, I’ve never prebooked, only run off the 2for1 voucher, there no codes and no payments made.

I should imagine if you’re prebooking and prepaying it would be a code for each one, so 3 codes for 6 people. But you’re only going to know by going through that process. You can always cancel just before you put in payment details
