Cheers.

I am an admin of a few groups.

@ManyATrueWord @YouveGotAFastCar Thank you! I have two problems. Hope you can help.

  1. I've been made a moderator by the admin of one group I am a member of. He set it up as a public group and it's been overrun by scammers. He made me a moderator (and is adding another woman as a mod too) but as he is the admin there are things we as mods can't do. I've been looking for scammers and getting rid and blocking, and I have set up some security questions to prove they are interested in the hobby group in the first place. New members have to answer the questions and some of them haven't. How do you 'force' them to (as in contact them if they haven't?) Also am I able to make the group private, and if so how (as I can't find out how by fiddling around on the group page).

  2. I set up a facebook page for a society I am in, but instead of creating a new page with a new email and login I created it as one of my own pages. This meant that only I could update it, and I hadn't time, so we decided that other committee members would be able to. I tried to change the email address to access that page to the society generic email account, but there is no way to change the password or indeed unlink it from my account. Is there a way to do this, or should I just delete the page and start again?

Thanks in advance.

Yes got a 20k one and a 2k one. Have seen it all! What do you need? X

1 Set post approval on while you’re tidying up.

Hover over the comment and it should say ‘delete comment and block member’ which can help clean up quicker

Post publicly and use the @everyone tag and ask for the communities support in reposting spam posts and comments

  1. There’s no way and it’s a massive pain. Only way is to delete and start again.

You should be able to give admin rights on a page to another account.

Thanks I will try and get started soon
