Rubbish title but hopefully you know what I mean.

For me, those who spring to mind are:
Sir David Attenborough
Tom Hanks
Usain Bolt
Judy Dench

OP posts:
cisisaslur · 31/05/2023 01:23

Ricky Gervais
Andy Murray
I love them both.

CherryCokeFanatic · 31/05/2023 00:44

Alan Davies
Richard Ayoade
Clarkson

Never meet Alan Davies @CherryCokeFanatic, it will spoil things for you. He’s an arse.

Rainbowshit · 31/05/2023 01:34

I came in to say nobody. They're all just human after all.

But actually I would be gutted if Andy Murray turned out to be a wrong un.

WhereTheSuburbsMeetUttoxeter · 31/05/2023 01:38

Ted Hastings.

Marcipex · 31/05/2023 01:40

Naga Munchetty
Sir David Attenborough
Deborah Meaden
Tony Hart
Yo Yo Ma

LittleBrownJug · 31/05/2023 01:47

Please please please tell me without me RTWT (I’ve read half to be fair) that someone has pointed out that Tom Hanks is for sure a cheating scumbag? @AbbyGal @Blondey2023

PuffinsRocks · 30/05/2023 22:36

JK Rowling. Terry Pratchett. James May.

May stood and watched whilst Clarkson punched someone in the face. For me, the "wrong'un" ship has already sailed for him and Hammond.

Sickofchangingmyfuckingusername · 31/05/2023 02:05

Terry Wogan- I would be absolutely devastated if anything seedy came out. Grumpy maybe?
Harry and Keanu have the same gentle and lovely quality I think
Usain Bolt- I could not cope with finding out he was a drugs cheat- although I have never heard anything.

porridgeisbae · 31/05/2023 02:15

Erm...

Ross Kemp? I wouldn't be gutted as such though- like PP's say, the world is full of wrong'uns.

I'd say Ray Mears, but he has a kind of 'boy scout leader' vibe. Grin

InvincibleInvisibility · 31/05/2023 02:38

I think there are many levels of wrong un

A non exhaustive list:

Grumpy when approached in public
Arsehole to work with
Unfaithful to partners
.
.
.
Illegal and morally repugnant actions

I wouldn't be surprised or upset at any celebrity being grumpy when approached in public.

I'd hope most weren't too aresholey or unfaithful but if they were, meh doesn't affect my life.

However illegal and morally repugnant acts - well I'd be gutted if it were people like David Tennant, Sir David A, Emma Thompson, Robin Williams,

RenoDakota · 31/05/2023 02:49

Chris Packham
Tony Blackburn
Dermot O'Leary

CelestiaNoctis · 31/05/2023 02:49

Keanu reeves. Jack black. Steve irwin (r.i.p).

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 31/05/2023 02:58

@Flunkey Martin Clunes tried to force an anonymous tax appeal as he was claiming tax relief on cosmetic procedures. He reckoned it would damage his celebrity status if people found out that he'd been claiming thing he wasn't entitled to.

He was also mentioned in the papers a couple of weeks ago as he's complaining that a couple who live near his massive house/farmland are spoiling his view by living in a caravan on land they own.
He doesn't want a traveller site near him - yet they're not travellers and the bloke's mum sold Clunes all the land.
He comes across as an entitled arse.

Bonkersworknonsense · 31/05/2023 03:10

Ricky Gervais
Bob Mortimer
Colin Firth
Joanna Lumley

Ted Hastings.

I hope not! Ted is the moral centre we all need (but it’s not looking good, is it!).

littleburn · 31/05/2023 04:20

Floella Benjamin. That would be my childhood ruined!

WiddlinDiddlin · 31/05/2023 04:28

Anthony Head - as sure as I can be that'll never happen!
Dave Grohl

For already dead ones...

Victoria Wood
Robin Williams

I don't particularly care if someone is occasionally grumpy or short, being expected to be happy happy joy joy wherever it is someone happens to spot you, no matter what you're dealing with, thats hard work and they are human, imperfect and fallible.

But if I found out any of those were outright nasty, illegal activities etc - I'd be truly gutted.

Hellenabe · 31/05/2023 04:43

I get the feeling David Walliams and Tom Hanks will be the next meetoo people to bring down. TH is losing his shine anyway but I'll bet these Epstein logs have some truth to them

bozzabollix · 31/05/2023 05:04

As with everyone, Keanu Reeves.
Brian Blessed, I love him.
Ade Edmonson.
Tom Baker who I’ve met and was fantastic, warned me never to go to London and haunts our local tip (must have a lot to stuff to get rid of, the blokes there love him).

Giggorata · 31/05/2023 05:04

Graham Norton…..

Gary Barlow…..

Alexander Armstrong….

The guy who is as vet and he has a show on TV. He has an accent and his practice is based somewhere in England and seems to be specialised in very complex cases? Why can’t I remember the name of the programme?! I’ve always thought the man is so, so lovely. I want to say it’s the “Yorkshire Vet” or something similar….

Supervet? Noel Fitzpatrick?
he’s an arse I can’t stand him. He treats his nurses like shit.
