Came out of nowhere yesterday, she’s not ill, no temperature, is her normal bouncy self and is eating and drinking normally. She’s had chicken pox as a baby. Not eaten anything different to usual, no change in washing powder or anything. She says they are not itchy or sore. I tried to get in at the GP but they fobbed us off to the pharmacist who were pretty unhelpful and only seemed to be interested in shoving calamine lotion at me. It’s all over her chest and back, a few on arms and legs but mainly on the upper thighs and bum. Picture is of her right hand side from the back so mid-waist-hip -outer thigh.

Has she been in a hot tub or swimming? Looks like folliculitis.

They look like the spots my ds gets especially when it's warm weather. I use dermol 500 cream on him and that seems to get rid of them.

You can get chicken pox more than once. My older DS has had it twice. My mother got chicken pox for a second time in her 60s (it was not shingles, but CP).

It may not be that of course but I am just saying because alot of people think it is a one time only deal and its not.

Google polymorphic light eruption to see if that fits. I started with it about that age and get it every year at the first hot spell. It's harmless but a bit annoying.

Oh god yes she has… I’ve googled pics and that actually looks quite likely, it’s the areas where her swimming costume would cover.

I meant to specify it was a hot tub. It looks just like the pictures of hot tub folliculitis. We all went in though and rest of us seem ok…. Although I’m itchy now!

Hot tub is dirty, will probably need antibiotics to clear that up
