Curry's pc world!!

Evening!! Today we had a new tv delivered, oh came home from work we've got it out of the box and the screen is smashed... I'm currently on the phone to curry's and they're saying they'll collect it tomorrow and it has to be scanned back in and a new one will be delivered Thursday.
Has anyone had a similar situation and got them to be able to rectify it quicker??
It's half term here and after making no plans today, it's looking like we've got 2 more days of being house bound all to get a tv we paid for next day delivery on

Sorry I cannot offer any suggestions. Hope they come early in each day. There is no excuse given modern communication not to give you say 30 minutes warning so you need not be sat at home waiting.

48 hour turnaround is really good! I thought your post was going to be about them refusing to exchange.

Would it be quicker if you did the return in store yourself?

I've suggested that and they said if I went to store they wouldn't be able to take it and would tell me to call

Ahh thanks everyone. It is the half term thing clouding my vision I think.
I've resolved it now, they are going to collect the broken tv tomorrow and we've ordered a replacement as a new order, they have let us have nominated time slot delivery for free
So good news in the end!!
