Any Brighton Mners - parking advice needed

I’m having to drive to Brighton due to train strikes and will need to park away from DC’s uni house as it’s a four hour max zone there and I’m going for two days.
Are there any streets a bit further out with unrestricted free parking please? DC is on St Leonard’s Rd, just off Lewes Rd.

Hi @Houseplantmad, if you head towards Hollingdean Road, there are some residential roads that don’t (yet) have parking restrictions.

It’s not a very nice walk but the number 50 bus should take you to and from the Sainsbury’s on Lewis Road and Davey Drive.

Have a look on Just Park for longer stays (and sometimes cheaper) options. It's often private spaces or driveways. I've used it in lots of different cities and never had an issue (I only use spaces with a decent number of reviews and good descriptions/ pictures)
